According to Alex, the business also intends to build the 106-room Moxy Mumbai in Andheri West, which is scheduled to open in March of this year.

The brand is drawing a lot of interest, and we hope that it will be as successful as the other brands. "We are also in conversation for some more projects, but we are waiting for them to be finalized and signed," she stated.
Marriott International is considering options for Moxy in tier I cities as well as certain vacation spots where the target audience fits the brand.
When asked about the challenges of getting skilled manpower, Alex said, Marriott International is highly focused on skill training internally as well as externally, therefore, the hospitality company has always attracted good talent.

Therefore, she continued, "we do not see any challenges in attracting the right talent for our Moxy brand."
In addition, she mentioned that the country's luxury and select service hotel sectors are expanding at a quicker rate than the entire hotel industry.
"Having said that, every one of our 13 brands is expanding in India; we are growing because each market has a different stage of development," the spokesperson continued. "In fact, we are looking at opportunities to introduce the rest of our 13 brands in India."
In India, Marriott International owns approximately 148 hotels across 17 brands in over 49 cities, including Moxy. With more than 30 brands, Marriott International has 8,700 properties worldwide.
